Gonna miss seeing your work on Advent each year but hopefully others will carry the torch! I could see people working with the existing code but it does make me curious what would be the best way to approach it in the future if it was done from scratch... Phaser maybe?
In a perfect world this would become some crazy open source project that gets so elaborate it ultimately replaces reality but one can only dream.
I just hope whoever takes over continues my goal of incorporating as many people as possible. with that in mind I would choose whatever engine enables the most people to help me, phaser seems pretty accessible, GMS too
Thanks for your work on the Tankmas projects, you have earned your retirement from the Advent projects. Hopefully whoever takes on the challenge of filling your shoes this year can do you proud.
