It's all a bit boring, the levels don't get interesting until too late. there's no real graphics, sounds or game feel

It's the start of something. but it feels too early to really judge

TheGreatGoat responds:

This is the first game I've ever made, so It's not the best thing in the world, I just wanted to get something out on newgrounds. Thanks for the feedback, though. I Might Update the game one day.

This is pretty heavy, you really nailed the atmosphere, but i'm gonna stop playing before I slit my wrists

great graphics but it got repetitive in a matter of seconds. Not a fan of the camera either.

Edit: all of your games' dynamic text uses Times new Roman, either you have bad taste or you're not embedding your fonts.

MEDWARDSART responds:

I will make sure to start mixing the text up

A bit slow paced and tedious for my taste. there's no reason to collect the gems, especially when they are just randomly scattered about.

other than the bugs you mentioned, I would focus on making the level design more engaging

SolarCrystalStudios responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I am thinking about making a checklist at the level complete section, as part of achieving 100% completion of a level perhaps? I could also make in one level, so that a door would open, once you collected a certain amount of gems?
I might also add some more things to the levels in a future version

I don't get it

Some little touches would have made a huge difference here, put the character in front of the level and make its hitbox match the graphic more closely. use a larger repeating tile and make it less obvious when it's cut off mid tile. pause the game when they die so they can see their score and wait for player input to restart the game.

MEDWARDSART responds:

thanks for the tips

lacks any kind of palatable feedback to the player. looks like a very early prototype. needs polish and UI. also, arithmetic isn't fun on it's own. If you want to make math engaging you need to spice it up a bit.

Brilliant idea, and the execution was fantastic! I got to 21 on my first try and I'll be checking back tomorrow.

I think spikes weren't explained as well as they should have been, seems like you wont die just from touching them and I think I would have survived longer had I known this.

Q doesn't always work for me, not sure why.

overall really boring, and not worth submitting. all you do is rapid tap Q and look in both directions, there's no real challenge

RProduction responds:

This is still only the initial stage of development, we can say the prototype which will be supplemented up to a full story game made on the flash.
In the future, this creation will be supplemented!
P. S: To Q started to work, you should move to the side.

Nice execution of the superhot mechanics but I think it falls a little flat. the bullets are insanely small and hard to see and the foreground colors are far too similar to the background's colors... and both are pretty dark and boring. speaking of colors the characters don't look distinct at all.

also dodging random bullet spray patterns isn't that great, and could be more interesting. I 'd like to see larger bullets and better player maneuverability.

Overall good gameplay, level design and audio but the graphics are functionally terrible and aesthetically bland.

Edit: Fuck me! My monitor was on like 10% brightness. I feel fucking stupid

Prox276 responds:

This was for a game jam and I probably won't update it but I will consider your feedback for my next game.

Wholesome AF
